Axtero Shift

Shared iPhones for shift teams, with each phone set up for the person using it.

Staff tap their badge at the start of a shift and take an iPhone that already has their name, work apps and access on it. At the end of the shift, they put it back for the next person. We size the pool for peak use, handovers, charging and reserve devices.

Why teams share iPhones with Axtero Shift

Axtero Shift is for teams in healthcare, hospitality, logistics or retail where people work in shifts and need a phone for the job.

Buy fewer phones

Part-time staff and every shift use the same iPhones. A phone that would sit unused on someone's day off goes to whoever is working.

The right apps for each person

Each person gets the apps and access they need for their job. Someone in the care team can get different apps from someone in facilities.

Each person's data stays theirs

During a shift, the phone is set up for one person. What they save on it is erased before the next person gets the phone.

Know who had which phone

Handovers are logged. If a phone goes missing, you can see who took it last.

Less work for IT

Your IT team isn't needed at shift change. Staff take and return the phones at the station on their own.

A broken station doesn't stop the shift

Each station runs on its own. If one fails, the others keep handing out phones, and anyone who already has one can keep using it.

What a shift looks like

For your staff, a shift starts and ends at the station.

  1. Tap your badge

Tap your staff badge at the station when your shift starts.

  2. Take your iPhone

One phone lights up. That one is yours for the shift.

  3. Ready in about 10 seconds

It shows your name and has your work apps and access on it.

  4. Put it back

Return the phone to the station at the end of your shift.

  5. Ready for the next person

It charges in the station until someone else needs it.

A staff badge identifies the employee. One of five shared iPhones lights up, then rises from the tray to show the work apps.

Phones are prepared in advance

When someone taps their badge, the apps and settings are already on the phone. It's ready for them in about 10 seconds.

Erasing and setup take longer. They happen after the phone comes back to the station: Axtero Shift erases the last person's data and prepares the phone again before the next person asks for one.

Three iPhones are erased and prepared together for their next users.
